Delete your Mobdla account

In the app

1. Open Mobdla and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

The account is closed immediately.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@mobdla.com with the mobile number on the account. We will confirm it is yours and close it within 30 working days.

What is deleted

• Your name, number, email, address and profile photo.
• Your identity and ownership documents, and your property photos and videos — removed from storage too.
• Your listings and requests, except any that form part of somebody else's swap record: only what that record needs stays, without the address, description, photos, papers or instalment details.
• Notifications, favourites and blocks, and every signed-in device.

What is kept, and why

• Swaps that completed, and their records.
• Conversations, because the other person is entitled to keep them. You appear as “deleted user”.
• Support conversations and reports, as the company's record.

Offers still waiting for an answer, or accepted but not completed, are cancelled so nobody is left waiting. Backups are taken daily and the last 14 are kept, so deleted data leaves them within about two weeks.
